This website (thalesfelini.com) is operated by Thales Augusto Felini, an independent Senior Product UX/UI Designer based in Tokyo, Japan. This cookie policy explains what cookies are, and what this website does about them.
The short version: this website sets no cookies at all. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you have not been shown a cookie banner.
It sits alongside the Privacy Policy, which covers the personal data I collect more generally and names me as the data controller for it.
Topics:
Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. Websites commonly use them to recognise you, to remember preferences, to keep you signed in, or to build a picture of how you browse.

None. This portfolio is a set of static pages. It runs no tag manager, no advertising or retargeting cookies, no social media tracking pixels, and no profiling of any kind.
It does count page views, using the cookieless counter built into this website's host. It reports that a page was opened and keeps nothing on your device to do it: no cookie, no identifier, no profile. What it records is listed in section 1 of the Privacy Policy, and section 4 below explains why it adds no other company to the picture.
It also writes nothing to your browser's local storage, session storage or IndexedDB. There is no sign-in, so no cookie keeps you signed in, and nothing is stored on your device to recognise you on a later visit.
The one piece of state this website holds is the message you type into the contact form, and that exists only in the page while you are filling it in. How it is handled once you send it is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Under the ePrivacy Directive, consent is required before storing information on your device or gaining access to information already stored there, unless that storage is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for.
Because this website stores nothing on your device, that obligation is not triggered, and a banner asking you to accept cookies would be asking you to consent to something that does not happen. Adding one would be misleading, so there is not one.
If this ever changes, the banner will appear before any non-essential cookie is set, this page will be updated first, and the date at the top of the page will show when that happened.
Cookies are not the only way a website can reveal something about you. Any file your browser fetches from another company's server shows that company your IP address. For that reason this website serves every file from its own domain:
The only outbound requests to other companies happen when you click a link, for example to LinkedIn, to WhatsApp or to an email service. At that point you are leaving this website, and whatever you go to is governed by its own policy.
You do not have to take my word for it. In any desktop browser, open the developer tools with F12, or Cmd + Option + I on a Mac, then:
Nothing here needs managing, but you can set any browser to refuse or delete cookies generally, and the website referred to above explains how. For instructions specific to your browser:

I keep this cookie policy under regular review and place any update on this page. This cookie policy was last updated on 4 October 2026.
If you have any question about this cookie policy, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
